This project involved removing the asbestos roof and wall cladding and replacing it with new insulated panels within a very tight programme. The buildings were previously home to Irish Biscuits Ltd, famous throughout Ireland and the United Kingdom for the manufacture of Jacobs Biscuits. The refurbished buildings are currently the main distribution centre for Powercity. Independent background reassurance air monitoring and safe re-occupation asbestos clearance certification was carried out, to monitor our procedures and document that the works were kept within permitted exposure limits.
